Dr. Monique Akouri
MBBS, DCH, FRACGP
Dr Monique Akouri graduated with Honours from The University Of Tasmania in 2006. Since graduating she completed 4 years training at The Royal Hobart Hospital, before moving back to Sydney to work at Sydney Childrens Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred & Campbelltown Hospital. Dr Akouri has a Diploma in Child Health & National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health.
Dr Akouri enjoys all areas of General Practice, with particular interest in womens & childrens health, geriatrics & chronic health issues. Dr Akouri is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & participates in a Saturday rotation roster.
Dr. Aaron Chien
Originally from Myanmar, Dr Chien graduated in 2006 before moving to Australia. Dr Chien completed his GP training in Tasmania and attained Fellowship recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
Dr Chien is available Monday to Friday and participates in a Saturday rotation roster.
Dr. Nazirah Hani
Dr Hani will join NWMP from the 3rd of August 2020. Dr Hani graduated from Monash University in 2012 and attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020. She has worked extensively in rural Victoria and Melbourne before relocating to Sydney.
Dr. Hani is patient, non-judgmental and enjoys building meaningful relationships with people. She believes that healthcare should be about keeping people both physically and mentally well. She has a special interest in preventive health, chronic illnesses, mental health and teaching junior doctors.
She enjoys running, playing the piano, singing and cooking.
Dr. Hani is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She also participates in a Saturday rotation roster.
Dr. Yasmin Langford -Wells
MBChB MPH (distinct.) DCH DTM&H MRCGP FRACGP
Dr Langford-Wells enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in lifestyle medicine, paediatrics, mental health, travel medicine and preventive health. She enjoys inspiring her patients to reach their full health and wellbeing potential through nutrition and lifestyle to prevent and treat chronic disease.
Dr Langford-Wells uses a holistic approach and fully involves her patients in their management plans. She believes that medical practice is most effective when there is continuity of care.
Yasmin trained in the UK, was awarded a distinction in her Public Health Masters degree and holds specialist diplomas in Child Health and Tropical Medicine. She has gained a wealth of experience in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics. Yasmin is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Yasmin values the doctor-patient partnership as an opportunity to educate and support her patients to achieve their full potential and feel fantastic.
Her interests include running, golf, coastal walks, art and music. She is grateful to be well travelled and has rare experiences working in Africa, South America and in the yacht industry.
Dr Langford-Wells practices on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Dr Mary Beth MacIsaac
MD, CCFP, FRACGP
Dr MacIsaac will be leaving the practice at the end of July 2020. Dr MacIsaac will be relocating away from Sydney due to family commitments.
Originally from Canada, Dr MacIsaac graduated and completed Fellowship in 2008 before moving to Australia and obtaining a Fellowship Ad Eundum Gradum from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr MacIsaac holds a Diploma in Child Health, and has interests in medical education, Women’s Health and Childrens Health.
Dr. Claire Mansell
MBChB, DSFRH, DRCOG, MRCGP, FRACGP
Dr Mansell is currently on Maternity leave
Dr Mansell is an experienced GP. She graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK and has been working in Australia since 2013. Dr Mansell enjoys all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health. She also takes part in medical education.
Dr. Kristen Ochs
BMed, MPH, DCH, FPAA Nat Cert, FRACGP
Dr Ochs graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2008. Since then, she has worked in several major Sydney hospitals and GP practices and has completed a Masters of Public Health through the University of Sydney, Diploma of Child Health through Sydney Children’s Hospital and National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Dr Ochs is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has an interest in Women’s Health, Children’s Health and Chronic Disease.
Dr Ochs consults on Tuesdays, Thursdays and participates in a rotating Saturday roster
Dr. Jodie Parker
B. Med, FRACGP
Jodie studied her bachelor of medicine through both the University of New England and University of Newcastle. She completed her FRACGP at the beginning of 2017. Jodie enjoys caring for all members of the family and working with other health professionals to achieve the best health outcomes for her patients. Her interests include children’s health and women’s health. She also takes part in the “Shared Care Program”, looking after women through their pregnancy.
Dr Parker is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday and participates in a Saturday rotation roster.
Dr. Andrew Ung
Dr Andrew Ung will be commencing with North West Medical Practice on the 3rd of Feb 2020
Dr Ung completed his medical degree at Western Sydney University in 2016. Prior to this he completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) at the University of Sydney. Dr Ung has worked at St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital, and Calvary Hospital during internship and residency. He is currently working towards fellowship recognition with the RACGP. Dr Ung enjoys all aspects of general practice from paediatrics through to geriatrics and chronic disease management.
